As the water is disturbed, you will see eerie light illuminating the waters. Take a glass-bottom boat out on the glowing waters of the Luminous Lagoon and jump in for a swim among the harmless phosphorescent phytoplankton. Swimming is optional. Boat ride tour last for about 30 minutes.
- Jerk food is cooked in the traditional style, on open air barbecues over pimento wood. Spicy jerk chicken and pork are the specialties of Scotchies but a milder jerk fish is also available along with a wide range of side dishes such as festival, rice and peas, roast yam, breadfruit, potatoes and corn.
